Teaching
At the Livestock and Forage Centre of Excellence, University of Saskatchewan students have access to the newest technologies, advanced handling facilities and a large number of animals — cow-calf pairs and feeder cattle — all located close to Saskatoon.
Professors from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine and from the College of Agriculture and Bioresources conduct laboratories and workshops to supplement their in-class instruction. It's all part of their desire to ensure the university is graduating students who have applied knowledge heading into their respective careers.
