U of S searches for centre director

The University of Saskatchewan is searching for the right person to lead the new Livestock and Forage Centre of Excellence.

The new centre, which is a collaborative initative between the university, federal and provincial governments, and industry groups, will be an internationally-recognized hub for research, teaching and industry engagement in all aspects of livestock and forage production.

Once selected, the new LFCE director will be responsilble for overseeing all aspects of the new centre.

The director will work closely with department heads, faculty users of the LFCE units, members of the centre's strategic advisory board, unit managers and staff to provide leadership in operational management, financial planning and management, strategic accountability and communications.
